The product page doesn't say anything about the DVD region, but it is region free (region 0), so it'll run in any DVD player from any country. The dark vocals, the agressive synths, the heavy percussion, it just ate it's way into my brain and refused to leave. It's great to finally have the video collection on dvd. I tried to go back and listen to my Pete Rock and CL Smooth or Public Enemy, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the Front 242 sound out of my head.

De Meyer's and 23's vocals are aggressive and grainy, and the vast layers of sound sometimes melt and flow with each other. I often thought of this album as Front's attempt to create a commercially successful record, but no more. Way back when I was in high school I was heavily into hip-hop of various stripes and colors.
Despite the appearance of some tradtional rock structures, Daniel's and Patrick's masterful ... It came in perfect condition, except for some scratches in the back of the jewel case. Then, at one cast party someone threw in "Tragedy For You", and it hit me like a freight train.
Additionally they both enjoy roadtripping to Sci-Fi conventions across the country where as Kynt puts it, "They feel right at home surrounded by Storm Troopers and Wookies." Both have a dream of someday attending the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, Germany, which is the largest Goth/industrial music festival in the world.
Representing the "Goth" community in Louisville has embedded a strong sense of "us against the world" mentality in these two Racers.
I've got a lot of 242 albums, and the one that gets the most play is their most recent studio album, "Pulse." This record and its companion tend to sit in my CD wallets for months on end. Now I really cant figure out if I like the early stuff more, or this more.
I popped this puppy back into the CD player today, and felt compelled to write this review. The production, for starters, sounds as if Front 242 were trying to take on the production values of "Psalm 69" by Ministry, which is strange indeed. Without a doubt I have probably listened to the early stuff more often. It has all the benefits of a trip without taking ... I bought it not expecting the DVD with it because it's not listed in the description. :-) All these songs are very different than their past works, but I like their creative evolution.
full review HIM is my favorite band so my expectations were high when I ordered the Love Metal Archives DVD. I had not previously seen all of the videos for the songs, and I love the fact that the DVD features both the video and live versions of several of the songs.
I think the live performances were my favorite part of the DVD because I feel that they capture the energy and feel of the band and their music as a whole entity.
